A piece of minimalist contemporary architecture—a new single-family house designed for a plot in the small village of Čeřenice. The building references the modest original structure that once stood on the site as well as the surrounding rural vernacular. Its gabled roof, elongated form, and proposed timber cladding give the house the character of a residential barn. The use of wood in combination with the nearby stone walls allows the building to blend naturally into the rural setting. The floor plan is designed to be as simple as possible. The entrance is located at the center, with the living area and kitchen placed on one side, and the night-time zone with two bedrooms on the other. It is a utilitarian building in both function and form, yet featuring a modern and elegant appearance.
