The design is based on the architectural proposal by OBJEKTOR – Ing. arch. Václav Šuba and team, which outlines a comprehensive refinement of the sports complex and its opening to the public. The grandstand building forms the focal point of the entire site. The architectural solution is straightforward, making use of the natural terrain slope toward the athletics track to position the grandstand. Beneath the seating area, facilities for athletes are provided. The ground floor, aligned with the site’s main pedestrian level, serves the public. It includes a refreshment counter, public changing rooms, and restrooms. The building is capped by a monumental reinforced-concrete slab with generous overhangs. The structure has an overall footprint measuring 31.1 × 13.1 metres and a maximum height of approximately 6 metres, with the grandstand itself measuring 28.5 × 7.6 metres. In terms of materials, a simple and vandal-resistant construction of exposed BSG concrete blocks was chosen.
